Software engineer · IT · moving into product

I build and ship products.

An engineer and IT pro on the product track. Find the problem, design the fix, then ship the solution. Forever iterating, forever learning.

About

Builder first. Engineer by degree. Product by choice.

I've been writing code and building things since I was a kid. That's what took me to Kennesaw State where I studied for a B.S. in Software Engineering.

I started full-time IT support during college at Cherry Creek School District, then transitioned to EchoStar. Fixing the thing in front of me and noticing the pattern behind it became second nature. Working that close to how systems break, and how people actually use them, pulled my attention toward the root problem instead of the symptom.

By the end of my junior year, I was able to give that pull a name: Product. Now I’m here, pursuing the path.
